CORCOVADO is MAPU's largest and most complete cabin — ideal for a family or a group of friends seeking space, comfort and an unforgettable Patagonian experience. 65 m² with a fully equipped kitchen — 4-burner stove, oven and refrigerator — a private bedroom with a king size bed, a mezzanine with a queen size bed (with the option to add a floor mattress for a small child), a sofa bed in the living area, 1 bathroom and a private 360° terrace with one of the most breathtaking views in all of Patagonia. A place to slow down, connect with nature and let Patagonia do the rest.

Meal Plans
Every stay includes a meal plan. From April to November, start your day with a full homemade breakfast. From December to March, enjoy our half board — breakfast and dinner — prepared with fresh ingredients from our organic garden and local Patagonian produce. All meals are served at our Quincho, the heart of MAPU Lodge.

CORCOVADO's kitchen is fully equipped for those who love to cook — 4-burner stove, oven and refrigerator. For a Patagonian dining experience, our Quincho is always open, with MAPU's kitchen serving fresh, seasonal cuisine.

There is something deeply comforting about a wood-burning fire on a cold Patagonian night. CORCOVADO's fireplace is the largest at MAPU — it fills the entire living area with warmth and light. A wood basket is provided so you can keep it going all evening long.

By completing your reservation, you agree to MAPU Lodge's terms and conditions, which govern the services provided during your stay.
We are committed to delivering every experience with excellence and care. Please read the following policies carefully before booking.
PARKING & LUGGAGE
CORCOVADO has its own parking area approximately 30 meters from the cabin. 4x4 and standard vehicles can both park directly at the cabin level. Our team will assist you with your luggage during check-in and check-out.
MOBILITY
Please note that CORCOVADO cabin features a mezzanine with a retractable staircase equipped with a safety lock — it can be kept open or folded away as needed. Please exercise extreme caution when using it, especially at night. If you have special needs or mobility concerns, let us know in advance so we can best assist you.
CABIN CARE
If anything in the cabin is damaged or broken during your stay, please notify our team immediately so we can arrange a replacement.
Accidental damage may be subject to reimbursement depending on the item's value.
Sunscreen and body creams are known to permanently stain bath towels. For this reason, we provide dedicated face towels specifically for sunscreen and cream use — please use them instead of the bath towels. Stained bath towels may be subject to a replacement fee.
TOWELS
MAPU towels are for use within the property only and must not be taken off-site. If you need extra towels for activities outside MAPU, please ask our team — we'll be happy to help.
KITCHEN FACILITIES

ACTIVITIES
Paddle the lake or take out a stand up board — available to guests at their own pace and subject to weather conditions. Looking for

LAKE ACCESS
Lonconao Lake is reached via a descending trail through our native forest. At the bottom, a floating deck awaits — perfect for
relaxing, taking in the scenery or enjoying a water sport.

The heart of MAPU — a gathering place where conscious gastronomy, good music and slow living come together. Whether you're sharing a meal with fellow guests or simply unwinding on your own, the Quincho sets the tone: unhurried, warm and alive with the flavors of Patagonia.
ENVIRONMENT
Embrace the silence and let nature take over. Tune your ears to birdsong, wind and water. There are no dangerous animals or insects
in the area.
CLOTHING & ACCESSORIES
Pack warm, comfortable layers. Wind and waterproof jackets, boots and swimwear are all recommended. Essentials: sunscreen, hat, scarf, gloves, sunglasses, flashlight, power bank and camera.
TRAVEL INSURANCE
We recommend traveling with insurance — MAPU is located in a remote area of Patagonia.
The cabins are super cozy. They have beautiful view of the lake and especially the affection of the owners!
