RIVERBUG

- 03 HOURS ESPOLON RIVER CLASSIC TOUR - - 03 HOURS ESPOLON RIVER FAMILY TOUR-

RIVERBUG, UNIQUE IN CHILE AND SOUTH AMERICA

Is an ideal activity for the family and especially for younger children. The Riverbugs are very versatile, individual, inflatable and easy to maneuver that allow us to play different types of games during the descent. We will use our own hands and legs to pull ourselves, using special equipment such as membrane gloves and special fins, as well as all the necessary technical equipment. With this adventure sport, we will be able to enjoy the beautiful views of Espolón and Azul rivers, surrounded by the beautiful and majestic Andes Mountains, by forests of coihue, lenga and notro; and if we are lucky, we will see the aquatic fauna: wild ducks, common ducks, cauquenes, etc... The transparent waters of these rivers connect us even more to this magical environment, making Riverbug an activity that you will remember as a beautiful moment, full of adventure and emotions that will unite the whole family.

Family Tour

This calm water section makes this activity suitable for children from 7 years old. If you are looking for a really fun activity to do with your family, this is the ideal experience: we will float through a calm and entertaining section of the river, where you’ll be able to enjoy magnificent views along the way down. It is not necessary to have any experience, just the desire to have fun together, children and adults. We start in a quiet place on the upper part of the Espolón River where the preparations are made: we will give you the technical equipment for the activity and pass on the safety information. It is about an hour and a half of activity: an easy and fun descent. Once we arrive at the exit we will be waiting for you with a refreshing snack.

Classic Tour

This tour is more demanding, for those looking for more emotions and adrenaline. We will divide this adventure in two sections: a training section in which you will learn the key moves to be able to navigate and maneuver the riverbug; the second section is where you will face and overcome the different rapids ranging from class II to class III. About an hour and a half of activity: first, calm waters where we will have all the time to get used to the riverbug and from there... the rapids: as we go down the river, the rapids increase a little in difficulty, until we reach the funniest: “Tucullon”. Once you arrive at the exit, in the La Confluencia sector, we will be waiting for you with a refreshing snack.

Duration: 3:00h in total / 2 hours downhill
Difficulty: Intermediate
